ElevateHer is dedicated to helping women reach their professional goals, which is why we have created a mentorship program for our members.

Mentorship, outside of its traditional parameters, is proven to be a critical element of success by providing protégés with the opportunity to broaden their perspective, build social capital, navigate organizational politics more strategically, and muster up the confidence to speak up when it matters most.

We offer two different pathways: our informal Mentor Network on Slack and a formal Mentorship Program.

Our Slack channel—the ElevateHer Mentor Network—was created with professional women in mind as a space we can use to connect, grow, seek advice, share information and come together as a community outside of an official mentorship program. Our goal has always been to support, educate and elevate professional women. We know this community has many valuable insights and talents it can offer each other and we look forward to bringing you all together online in our Slack Workspace. Help us create an online space for Vermont’s professional women that is inclusive, educational, and empowering by joining today.

If you’re looking for a formal approach to mentorship, we offer the ElevateHer Mentorship Program—a 3-month commitment designed to help women reach their professional goals. In our Mentorship Program, a mentor and mentee will be paired together based on the mentee’s goals and the mentor’s expertise. Mentor pairs will meet every other week for three months.

We encourage you to either take a traditional approach to mentorship, or to use the ElevateHer Mentorship Program to take part in reverse mentorships with a mentor that is younger than you or reciprocal mentorships where each person takes a turn in the mentor role. If you are seeking a mentor or would like to be a mentee, fill out our Mentorship Program form and we will get back to you within a week.

If you are looking for an incredible way to give back, please consider being a mentor for another woman in this community. If you are unsure that you have anything to mentor about, we assure you that do and can help you hone in on exactly what that is.
